Hi, We're Anne and Maha. As our group project for our Open Source Culture class, we decided to revive an old-time fairy tale for a contemporary audience by adding new perspectives and our own voices. For more about Open Source, check out our class Wiki.
Fairytales have always been a collaboration, stories passed down and across generations, altered and added to by each teller. We invite you to continue the tradition by adding your voice to the classic tale of Rumpelstiltskin, starting with the version we've put together in our first post.
To start your own version, log on to this blog as open.rumpelstiltskin@gmail.com with the password grimmbrothers. If you add a new post, you'll get our story to start with. Feel free to change, delete or completely reverse the gist of our example: there are no right answers. To tweak our version or anyone's story, respond to their post with your alterations. Make sure you click "publish" (not save) to post.
Have fun, and if you have any questions, or suggestions of links for this page, email us at queercowgirl@gmail.com.
